It packs winds of 85 kph with gustiness up to 105 kph and is moving westward at 30 kph.<div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/weather-traffic/2025/11/2/tropical-storm-enters-par-as-tino-pagasa-0833">Tropical storm enters PAR as &#x27;Tino&#x27;: PAGASA </a></div>Tino may rapidly intensify up to typhoon strength before making landfall at or near peak intensity over Eastern Visayas or Caraga between late Monday and early Tuesday.Currently, PAGASA projects the storm’s maximum wind intensity at 150 to 155 kph.The weather disturbance will then cross Visayas and northern Palawan before emerging over the West Philippine Sea Wednesday morning or afternoon.<div> </div><div>POTENTIAL EFFECTS</div>Signal No. 4 will be highest wind warning that will be raised during its passage.Tino’s destructive winds may fell big trees, topple posts, rip roofs, and inflict damage on houses.It may also generate storm surges at least three meters high, especially in coastal areas along its immediate path.Up to torrential rains may also be experienced over Visayas and in some parts of Bicol, MIMAROPA, and Caraga.Widespread and serious flooding and landslides are expected.Tino may be out of the Philippine area of responsibility on Thursday morning.The forecast track and intensity will still change so the public is advised to continuously monitor updates on this weather disturbance.
