Handout/PAGASA</div>MANILA — Severe tropical storm Verbena is about to exit the Philippine area of responsibility, state weather bureau PAGASA said late Wednesday.At 10 p.m., it was located 215 kilometers north northeast of Kalayaan, Palawan, with winds of 95 kilometers per hour and gusts up to 115 kph. It is moving westward at 20 kph.Wind signal no. 1 remains hoisted over Kalayaan Islands.Verbena’s trough or extension may still affect Palawan.While the effects of Verbena weaken, the shear line will continue to bring heavy to intense rains in Aurora and Northern Luzon, especially in Isabela, Cagayan, and Apayao through Friday evening.The threats of widespread and serious flooding and landslides in these areas remain.Two have been reported missing in Negros Oriental following Verbena’s onslaught, the Office of Civil Defense earlier said.&quot;Merong ulat po na nawawalang kababayan doon sa Negros Oriental naman po ito. Merong dalawa -- 1 from Bais City and 1 from La Libertad.
