The shear line is set to bring moderate to heavy (50-100mm) rains to Aurora and Quezon Wednesday, weather bureau PAGASA said.

PAGASA said a low pressure area over the West Philippine Sea now has a low chance of developing into a tropical cyclone in the next 24 hours. As of 8 a.m. Wednesday, it was located 360 km northwest of Kalayaan, Palawan outside the Philippine area of responsibility.

The LPA is not expected to enter the PAR nor directly affect the country.

As of 4 a.m., the weather bureau said the shear line is bringing cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms to Isabela, Aurora, and Quezon.

Mindanao will experience cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms while Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies.

Palawan will experience cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the trough of a low pressure area.
