<div><span class="fr-img-caption fr-fic fr-dib" style="width:960px"><span class="fr-img-wrap"><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/1751273236678philippines_band_13_20250630045000.gif" style="width:960px" class="fr-fic fr-dib"/><span class="fr-inner" style="text-align:left">RAMB/US NOAA/Himawari</span></span></span></div><div><br/></div><p>A low pressure area over the Philippine Sea has a medium chance of developing into a tropical depression in the next 24 hours, PAGASA said on Monday afternoon.</p><p>The LPA was located 920 kilometers east of Central Luzon at 3 p.m., the state weather bureau said.</p><p>The trough or extension of the LPA will bring rains over Bicol, Quezon, and Aurora while the habagat will affect Visayas, Mindanao, and the rest of Central and Southern Luzon.</p><div><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/17512731346761751273132684.png" style="width:960px" class="fr-fic fr-dib"/></div><p>The weather disturbance will be named Bising when it forms into a tropical cyclone.</p><p>It is unlikely to make landfall as it will track northeastward away from land. </p><p>However, it will pull habagat that will continue to dump rains over western Philippines, including Metro Manila.</p>
