The weather disturbance was located 125 kilometers north northwest of Calayan, Cagayan as of 8 p.m. Thursday, according to PAGASA.

It now has a higher chance of turning into a storm, and will be named “Bising” when it becomes a tropical depression.

The LPA will bring scattered rains over the northern portions of Ilocos Region, Cordillera, and Cagayan Valley.
