MANILA (UPDATED) -- Tropical storm Bising is now gradually making its turn over the northern West Philippine Sea, according to state weather bureau Pagasa.

At 10 a.m. Saturday, it was located 460 km west of Basco, Batanes, outside the Philippine area of responsibility.

Bising has winds of 75 kph, with gusts up to 90 kph, and moving east northeastward slowly.

It may develop into a severe tropical storm once it moves northeastward.

Pagasa said it will re-enter the northwestern boundary of PAR Monday morning and exit again in the afternoon.

The trough of Bising may still bring scattered rains over parts of Extreme Northern Luzon, while the southwest monsoon could still drench the western portion of Luzon, including Metro Manila this weekend.

Flooding and landslides remain possible.
