TV host and impersonator Jervi Li, more popularly known as “Kaladkaren” returns to her alma mater University of the Philippines (UP) this Saturday (October 13) in “University Town” (U-Town) with hosts Gretchen Ho and Robi Domingo.
The “Umagang Kay Ganda” host will share her tips in getting around UP Diliman’s sprawling campus and also introduce viewers to the organization that gave birth to the ‘Kaladkaren’ character.
Watch Gretchen learn how to “properly” enunciate words from Jervi’s college organization, the UP SAMASKOM, where the latter started performing on stage and impersonating personalities like Karen Davila, another UP alumna.
Meanwhile, viewers will also meet the campus’ “University Lodi,” debater Johanne Jazmin Tan Jabines, who won in the biggest public speaking contest in the world, and “Campus Crush” Sam Corales, the former UP Pep Squad member that serves as UP’s courtside reporter this season.
Volleyball star Alyssa Valdez, on the other hand, will test her mettle against UP’s men’s football team, which reclaimed the championship in UAAP last season. Catch her try the sport of the country’s beloved Azkals team.
