For Filipinos, radio and TV are not just source of news. They are also perfect companions after a long and tiring week with programs that bring amusement and inspiration to people.
When it comes to money, career, relationships and family, viewers can rely on the team-up of real-life couple Vic and Avelyn Garcia in “Tulong Ko, Pasa Mo (TKPM)” on DZMM Radyo Patrol 630 and DZMM TeleRadyo.
They also link people who need help and want to help in the program.
While their show is relatively new in DZMM, they have been involved in counseling and helping Filipinos have successful, happy, and meaningful lives for years. It all started in 2005, when someone who extended help to them refused to accept payment. Instead, the person asked Vic and Avelyn to pay it forward and help other people.
“It should not stop at when you receive help. Pass on the kindness given to you and continue the chain of people extending help to another,” Vic explained.
Avelyn added, “we believe that if every Filipino would help each other, all our lives will be better. And one day, the Philippines will be one of the richest nations in the world.”
