Kiana Valenciano to release first full-length album on March 1

Kiana unravels self in “See Me” album.

Kiana Valenciano is all set to shake airwaves with her much-awaited “See Me” album, consisting of ten original tracks, under Tarsier Records and top-gun producers Moophs and Marcus Davis.

Her “baby” as she calls it, “See Me” shows off Kiana’s writing ability to cross genres without losing her sonic brand. She pushed her limits to find the perfect balance between what she wants and not making the songs seem too generic. More than all the technical details and artistic creation, however, the hardest to deal with was the vulnerability of showing her true self.

Working on the album, she developed a renewed perspective: being unapologetic about her craft. This resulted to her having bursts of writing sessions that took as quick as an hour with “Want You” to “See Me” that took a full month. In the creative process Kiana aimed to focus on her emotions as well as the rawness of her music.

“See Me” lists 10 tracks including the carrier single “5:30,” a soulful summer score on that ‘can’t-get-enough-of-you’ feeling, and “Keep It Secret,” a reunion with rapper Curtismith.

“See Me” will be out on all digital music platforms starting March 1 (Friday). For updatesand the freshest releases, follow @tarsierrecords on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
