Reality show for asian drama fans premieres this May on Asianovela Channel

Relive Asian drama hits “Hwarang,” "The Good Wife," and more

Pinoy Asianovela fans or “faneys” get a chance to go on an ultimate fan experience as Asianovela Channel premieres “Faney Avenue,” the first-ever daily lifestyle-reality show for them, this May.

Hosted by actress and comedienne Alora Sasam, the new show airing weekdays (with replays on weekends) gives fans a chance to experience what they love most from their favorite Asian dramas, from fashion, make-up, food, to culture.
 
Each day brings a different fun experience: Fans get to go to different local places to reminisce iconic scenes from their favorite Asian series every Monday; they can create their very own symbolic items from their favorite Asian Series every Tuesday; they get to dress like their favorite drama idol each Wednesday; they become their own social media star every Thursday; and get to enjoy their favorite Asian food from their most-loved dramas every Friday.
 
Meanwhile, viewers are in for a treat with the various plot twists and turns of the Asian remake of “The Good Wife,”  which will be airing first on Philippine TV on Asianovela Channel. The story revolves around a lawyer and his wife’s life caught in a political turmoil. This airs from Monday to Friday starting May 20 (7:00 AM), with replays in the afternoon (12:00 PM), and on May 25 (11:00 PM).
 
Relive the Asianovela drama hit about the intricate life in historic South Korea “Hwarang” (Monday to Friday starting May 27 at 5:00 AM, with replays on June 1 and 2 at 7:00 AM) and feel-good romcom “I Am Not A Robot,” (Monday to Friday starting May 27 at 10:00 AM, and 3:00 PM, with replays on May 25 and 26 at 11:00 AM).
   
Other programs that will surely entertain TVplus viewers of Asianovela Channel are romcom “Mr. Hurt,” the mysterious and complicated “My Dearest Intruder,” a story about one woman’s journey of discovery in “Twenty Again,” the Jackie Chan headliner ”Twinkle, Twinkle, Lucky Stars,” the Thai action hit “Iron Ladies 2,” the plot intricacies of Chinese movie, “Never Say Die,”  fantasy romcom “Wonderful Nightmare,” the historical drama of “China’s Last Eunuch,” crime-thriller “Overheard 3,” and the horror sequel “Sadako 2” for the entire month of May.
 
More and more TVplus users are also watching programs on Asianovela Channel that is now the eighth most watched channel among DTT households based on Kantar Media’s Q4 2018 report that covers DTT households nationwide.
