ABS-CBN TFC offers DonBelle movie screenings and live appearances plus Barrio Fiesta in Dubai during UAE's long National Day weekend December 03, 2022 AT 06:54 AM SHARE TWEET DUBAI, December 2, 2022 - If the U.S. kicked off the holiday season with its four-day Thanksgiving weekend last week, another huge long four-day holiday weekend is happening this time 7,822 miles away from the U.S. This is the the 51st National Day of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) which is celebrated on December 2. The occasion marks the day of unity among Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Ajman, Al-Ain, Sharjah, and Umm al-Quwain to become the United Arab Emirates (the seventh emirate, Ras Al Khaimah, joined later). This also means that the country's residents get December 1 to 4 off. "AN INCONVENIENT LOVE" SPECIAL MOVIE SCREENINGS WITH MEET & GREET The highly popular next generation Filipino loveteam of Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano (DonBelle) flew all the way to UAE to be with their fans for the special screenings of their second movie together, "An Inconvenient Love". The rom-com, directed by "Hello Stranger" filmmaker Petersen Vargas, marks the return of ABS-CBN's Star Cinema and TFC to the big screen after the two-year pandemic hiatus. The special movie screening includes a Meet & Greet with Donny and Belle in Abu Dhabi on December 2, 5:30pm at Oscar Cinema, Al Wahda Mall. On December 4, people from Dubai will have their chance to see the loveteam live at Star Cinemas, Al Ghurair Mall at two separate timeslots: 3:30pm and 4:45pm.
