A new "Idol Philippines" grand winner will be named as the country’s biggest singing competition holds its final showdown this weekend with its Top 5 hopefuls vying for the prestigious title after twelve weeks of intense competition.

In the top-trending Live Gala shows last Saturday (September 10) and Sunday (September 11) mentored by musical directors Louie Ocampo and Ria Osorio, Ryssi Avila rose to the top after she got 99.02% from the combined votes of the judges and Uplivers. She was followed by Ann Raniel who got 97.19% and Khimo Gumatay with 96.13%.

Bryan Chong and Kice completed the Top 5 with 94.41% and 79.44%, respectively. Meanwhile, Delly Cuevas ended her "Idol PH" journey after she received the lowest combined votes from the judges and Uplivers with 64.59%.

In the final showdown, Ann, Bryan, Khimo, Kice, and Ryssi will need to put all the stops to wow the judges and steal the Uplivers' hearts to be the Next Idol PH grand winner in the country's biggest singing competition.

The grand winner will win P1 million pesos cash, a brand-new house and lot from Camella worth P 2 million pesos, a recording contract with ABS-CBN Music, and a full franchise package from Dermacare Face, Body, and Laser Center worth P3 million pesos.
