Kathryn, proud sa pagiging kinatawan ng talentong Pinoy sa international stage
Nanalo ang Asia’s Box Office Superstar na si Kathryn Bernardo ng Outstanding Asian Star award sa Seoul International Drama Awards (SDA) 2023.
Sa kanyang acceptance speech, nagbigay-pugay siya sa mga healthcare workers at ipinahayag ang kabutihan na naidulot ng ABS-CBN hit series na “2 Good 2 Be True.”
"I fell in love with this project [2 Good 2 Be True] because of its unique storyline. It's always been more than just sharing a love story to our audience, but also spreading awareness about Alzheimer's disease and educating people about those who struggle with it, and how we can offer them the best support they need. This project made me appreciate our nurses and our healthcare workers so it was really more than just another TV show for me ," sabi ng Kapamilya star.
Ginampanan niya ang karakter ni Ali, isang nurse na nag-aalaga sa isang matandang bilyonaryo (Lolo Sir/Hugo Agcaoili na ginampanan ni Ronaldo Valdez) na may Alzheimer's. Sa matagumpay na pagpalabas nito, pinuri ito ng mga manonood dahil sa maayos na pagpapakita nito ng health procedures tulad ng CPR at FAST method.
Pinasalamatan ng “A Very Good Girl” star ang team sa likod ng “2 Good To Be True” at ang kanyang loyal fans sa Pilipinas.
Bukod pa rito, umaasa siya na mas marami pang world-class na content ang magagawa hindi lang para sa mga Pilipino, kundi para sa buong mundo.
"I am so proud and humbled to be on this stage representing Filipino talent and being a Filipino. This means so much to me. Thank you so much and from the bottom of my heart, maraming-maraming salamat po," dagdag pa niya.
Sa kabilang banda, muling mapapanood si Kathryn sa “A Very Good Girl,” na ipapalabas na sa mga sinehan sa buong bansa simula Setyembre 27.
