Alexa Ilacad Contemplates on Relationship What-Ifs in “Kung Naging Tayo”

Popular actress-singer Alexa Ilacad deals with the anxieties that come with chasing love on her latest single “Kung Naging Tayo.”

The straightforward pop ballad depicts how doubts and fears could ruin a potentially romantic love. It was written by Angelica Tagadtad and produced by critically-acclaimed producer-songwriter and certified hitmaker Jonathan Manalo. The song has also topped the iTunes chart less than a day from its release.

The official music video for “Kung Naging Tayo” features new Kapamilya star Emilio Daez and directed by Ingrid Ignacio. It is now out on the official Star Music YouTube channel.

Early this year, Alexa released her solo version of the Star Magical Prom 2024 theme song “Believing In Magic (Yakap Mo)” which has amassed nearly 1.050 million streams on Spotify and over 1.6 million views on YouTube. She also headlined the sold-out concert Add to Heart with on-screen partner KD Estrada held at Music Museum last May 2024.

As an actress, she has starred in several drama series such as Bagito, The Good Son, The Killer Bride, and Pira-Pirasong Paraiso. She has also dabbled into hosting recently as one of the mainstays of Pinoy Big Brother Gen 11.
