Popular Filipino model, actor, and athlete Enchong Dee will star on Idol Philippines season 2 grand winner KHIMO’s debut official music video/short film “Nasunog”. “Nasunog” (Burned) asks the question: ‘Can we really get back together after you burned our love and betrayed me?’. The R&B track showcases KHIMO’s soulful voice and clever songwriting as he answers this question beautifully in his much-awaited debut single with Star Music.

The mv revolves around a futuristic love story in short film narrative style and will employ the use of computer-generated imagery or CGI. The short film narrative style was said to be inspired by the song's inherent storytelling arc.

According to KHIMO, “Noong kino-conceptualize namin yung narrative ng short film, direk Kashka (Gaddi) and the entire team thought na gawing futuristic yung setting pero love story. I was told that this will be the first time na mag-incorporate ng CGI ang Star Music sa isang music video kaya I’m grateful na naging part ako ng project na ‘to, plus working with one of the reputable actors here sa bansa na si Enchong Dee. Sobrang thankful ako kay kuys Enchong and sa Star Magic na paunlakan yung invitation namin for this short film.”

Director Kashka Gaddi also had bright things to say about both KHIMO and Enchong. “Meeting KHIMO was such an experience. Talking to him made me realize that he was not just a singer, but an artist with a profound gift for storytelling.”

KHIMO’s “Nasunog” official music video/short film directed by Kashka Gaddi and starring Enchong Dee will be out on Star Music’s official YouTube channel this August 11, 6PM.
