Yeng’s Hugot Song Is Now Complete! Performs It During “Ako Si Josephine” Press Con

She wasn’t able to complete it back then, but now it is, and she willingly and beautifully performed it during the grand press conference of the upcoming <strong>PETA</strong> musical <em><strong>Ako Si Josephine</strong></em> which is incidentally inspired by Yeng’s music.</span></h3><h3><span style="color:#000000">The song dubbed as <strong>“T.A.N.G.A.”</strong> (the spelled out Filipino translation of “stupid”) is about unrequited love that can drive a person mad. It’s a powerful song that many Filipino music fans can surely relate to, and <strong>Yeng</strong> couldn’t have performed the complete song at a better venue and circumstance.</span></h3><h3><span style="color:#000000">During the grand press conference, it can be seen that the pop-rock superstar was extremely emotional as she watched the cast of the musical perform a glimpse of <em><strong>Ako Si Josephine</strong></em> featuring <strong>Yeng</strong>’s greatest hits. This is why when she took the microphone to sing the special hugot song, the genuine emotions contained in it can clearly be felt as she voiced out every word from <strong>“T.A.N.G.A.”</strong> And this introduction of the new song by Yeng herself is fitting for the overall message that the musical wants to convey, and that is knowing the importance of love.</span></h3><h3><span style="color:#000000">The director of the musical <strong>Maribel Legarda</strong> said that the beautiful thing about it is that it serves as an event wherein art crosses over. Theatergoers would see and appreciate how music and theater interact, and so <strong>Yeng</strong>’s music now reaches a wider audience and becomes available for a deeper appreciation.
