KUWAIT—Ikinatuwa ng mga Pilipino rito ang pagkakaayos ng Pilipinas at Kuwait matapos ang gusot na dulot ng isang kontrobersiyal na rescue video sa overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) dito.Ipinakita umano sa video ang direktang pagsagip ng mga miyembro ng Philippine embassy dito sa mga distressed OFWs mula sa tahanan ng kanilang employers.Dahil dito, naghain ng 2 diplomatic protests ang Kuwait laban sa umano&#x27;y paglabag ng Philippine embassy sa Vienna Convention dahil sa pamamaraan ng kanilang pagtulong sa mga distressed OFWs sa kumalat na video. &quot;Masaya na po kasi akala namin hindi na po maayos. Kinakabahan po kami kasi baka pauwiin kami nang di oras at saka 6 na taon na po ako nagtratragabaho sa Kuwait at salamat sa Diyos OK na po ang komunikasyon ng Kuwait at Philippines,&quot; ani Rosanna Perando, OFW sa Kuwait.Nagpasalamat naman si Ambassador Renato Pedro Villa sa Kuwait at muling nagpaumanhin.Nauna rito, humingi ng paumanhin si Foreign Affairs Secretary Alan Peter Cayetano.&quot;It was never the intention of the embassy to offend the sensitivities of the Kuwaiti government and the Kuwaiti people.
