We are calling on all Filipinos to stay calm,&quot; he said.</p><p>The United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Bahrain have cut diplomatic ties with Qatar last Monday, accusing its Gulf Arab neighbor of supporting extremism and undermining regional stability.</p><p>Qatar, a small peninsular nation of 2.5 million people that has a large US military base, denounced the action as predicated on lies about it supporting militants.</p>
