LONDON—Inihatid sa huling hantungan ang 19 anyos na si Aldrin Carlos nitong Miyerkoles.Ginanap ang funeral service sa Honor Oak Crematorium. Dinaluhan ito ng mga malalapit na kaibigan, kaklase at mahal sa buhay. Dito rin ginawa ang cremation. Naging laman ng balita si Carlos nang matagpuan ang kaniyang katawan sa Russia Dock Woodland. Reported missing si Carlos na huling nakita noong Hulyo 14. Ikinalat sa social media ang impormasyon tungkol sa kaniyang pagkawala. Noong Hulyo 31, isang dog walker ang nakakita sa kaniyang katawan. “It’s taken 17 days to find him and I can’t see his body as it’s too decomposed. It’s so hard. I would never have thought this could happen to my son,” pahayag ng ina ni Aldrin na si Grace, 44 taon gulang, sa <a href="https://www.southwarknews.co.uk/news/body-found-in-russia-dock-woodland-is-missing-aldrin-carlos/" target="_blank">Southwark News</a>. “It is the last thing that would cross my mind.”Walang nakitang foul play ang mga pulis sa pagkamatay ni Carlos. Ayon naman sa mga malalapit na kaibigan ni Carlos, hindi ito nagpakita ng senyales ng depression o anumang mental health conditions. Popular sa eskuwelan si Carlos dahil sa kaniyang artistic talent. Ilan sa kanyang passion ang yoga, martial arts at interes sa Buddhism. Bago ang kaniyang pagkawala, nag-aaral ng fine arts sa City and Guilds London Art School sa Kennington si Carlos at nakatira kasama ang kaniyang inang si Grace, single parent at nurse sa London. Para sa ilang Filipino sa London, wake-up call ito na ang depresyon o iba pang mental health conditions ay maaaring walang senyales kaya dapat maging mapagsubaybay hindi lang ang mga magulang kundi ang komunidad. Wala namang sinisisi sa nangyari si Grace.
