Are there things that are sacred, or are we sometimes willing to compromise and accept change? That’s the big question tackled by “Pamilya Sagrado” stars Daniela Stranner and Jeremiah Lisbo in the “Sagrado o Tablado” Challenge.

In this fun game, they get a list of things—could be items, activities, and more—and they have to decide if each one is ‘sacred’ or not.

First up: ‘going to church.’ The Kapamiya stars both agree that this is definitely ‘sagrado’ because they grew up going to church with their families. Jeremiah adds that attending mass together is a great way for them to bond as a family.

It looks like they’re both super family-oriented, so it’s no surprise they consider ‘family traditions’ as sacred too. Daniela shares that, at her age, she makes it a point to spend as much time as possible with her loved ones because she knows that soon she’ll be moving on to start her own.

Jeremiah feels the same way about family dinners—they’re a sacred time for catching up and connecting.

When it comes to graduating with honors, though, they’re not so impressed. They both agree that it’s not really ‘sagrado’—more like ‘tablado.’ What really matters to them is that you did your best and finished your studies. As Jeremiah puts it, “Hindi naman kailangan my honor ka, ang importante sa akin, ay maka-graduate ka.”

If you ever spill your secrets to them, don’t sweat it—they’ll keep them under wraps. They’re all about protecting friendships and respecting privacy.

In the show, their characters are into joining fraternities and sororities. But in real life, they think you don’t really need to join such groups to find genuine brotherhood and sisterhood. “Kung samahan lang ang hinahanap mo, huwag ka nang lumayo, doon ka na sa totoong mapagkakatiwalaan mo, which is ‘yung pamilya mo,” Jeremiah says.

They’re not into joining politics either, even though it’s a theme in their teleserye.

Jeremiah thinks working out is ‘sagrado’ because it keeps him healthy and fit, but Daniela confessed it’s more like ‘tablado’ for her. “Tamad ako,” she laughed. Also, they’re not the type to follow fashion trends religiously—comfort always comes before style for them.

Catch Daniela and Jeremiah in “Pamilya Sagrado,” weeknights, on Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, TV5, and A2Z.
