Grey Fernandez was born to play the bad guy. With his intense stares, perfectly timed smirks, and undeniable acting chops, he brings the perfect mix of charm and menace to his role as Justin in “Pamilya Sagrado.”

From the moment he steps on screen, you know he means business—and not the good kind! He’s one dangerously irresistible package. If you need proof, check out this Kapamilya Toplist video compilation of his ‘baddest’ moments from the series.

Grae’s ‘kontrabida’ skills shone through when his character, Justin, tried his best to manipulate the truth about Roland’s (JC Alcantara) death—a crime for which he was undeniably guilty. His chilling calmness as he spun lies to bury the truth about Roland’s demise was masterful. But when Moises (Kyle Echarri) refused to back down from his investigation, Grey’s portrayal of Justin’s rage was just as captivating.

There was a scene where he cornered Moises in a secluded spot, their confrontation turning into an explosive exchange of harsh words. Grey’s delivery of every line was sharp and calculated, as he made it clear that the Sagrados had done more than enough for Moises’ Malonzo family. In a spine-chilling moment, Justin implied that Moises should submit to their demands: stay silent and let Roland’s death be forgotten. Grey’s cold, almost sinister presence in this scene made it impossible to look away, as he embodied the perfect antagonist who is confident in his power and determined to maintain control.

And then, he showed just how beastly he could get. Fueled by rage and desperation, Justin brutally attacked Moises, delivering a beating so savage that viewers were left on the edge of their seats, genuinely fearing for Moises' life. Grey’s unrelenting expression made it seem like Justin was ready to kill Moises right then and there.

We were also left speechless by Grey’s chilling performance when Justin confronted his mother, Mercedes (Mylene Dizon). Face-to-face with her, Justin unleashed his bottled-up rage, accusing Mercedes of being the reason he unintentionally killed Roland. The tension was palpable as he revealed his deep resentment, exposing how he had known all along that Mercedes had been getting illegal drugs from Roland. It was that betrayal, that anger festering inside him, which led him to lash out during Roland's fraternity initiation, accidentally taking his life in the process. The raw anger and hurt Grey delivered had viewers genuinely holding their breath, making it clear that Justin’s spiral into darkness was both terrifying and mesmerizing. His intensity was complemented by Mercedes almost freezing in fear. Her wide-eyed terror, almost unable to comprehend the monster her son had become, only heightened the impact of the scene.

In the next clip, he unknowingly walked into Moises' trap by admitting that he indeed killed Roland during the Gamma Sigma Xi fraternity initiation. The way he delivered his lines, as if spitting poison, would send shivers down your spine. We’re also impressed with how he embodied reckless confidence perfectly when he disrespected his professor, who was then trying to protect Moises from impartial enforcement of the law.

In another episode, Justin spelled danger with unnerving ease during breakfast when he playfully asked his father, Rafael (Piolo Pascual), for permission to carry a gun. The casual way he made the request, as if asking for a simple favor, was horrifying in itself, but it was his jesting demonstration of how he would kill Moises that truly sent a wave of fear through the scene. This hinted that beneath the charming facade, Justin was a ticking time bomb.

In yet another disturbing display of just how evil Justin could be, he faked tears at Eleazar's (John Arcilla) hospital bedside while the man lay in a coma, when in truth, it was his own grandfather, Jaime (Tirso Cruz), who had stabbed Eleazar, and he was well aware of it. Grey switching between faux vulnerability and hidden malice was remarkable, showing how deeply his character had learned from the true master of manipulation, his grandfather.

Even Rafael was dumbfounded when, in another scene, Justin coldly suggested that Eleazar and his daughter, Danica (Micaela Santos), be killed. Rafael’s shock highlighted the severity of Justin’s transformation into a true antagonist. In that moment, it was clear that Justin was no longer just a spoiled brat; he was a calculated threat.

Stay tuned as the truth bombs explode in “Pamilya Sagrado,” airing weeknights, on Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, TV5, and A2Z.
