From his early days as a charming contestant on The Voice Kids to his breakout roles in popular TV dramas, Kyle has continuously proven his versatility and dedication to his craft.

Now, in "Pamilya Sagrado," he delivers his most powerful performances yet, showcasing his matured acting skills and strong presence on screen. His character, Moises Malonzo, must be tough and intense with a soft heart, and Kyle manages to make the intricacy clear and believable.

A charmer through and through, of course, he would nail the cute moments, like when he cheered on his best friend Kelvin (Jeremiah Lisbo) for winning a pageant. Then he shifted to evoking our sympathy as he revealed he had given all his savings to his father because their house was destroyed in the recent typhoon. And just when we thought our hearts couldn't break any more, he crushed them completely with his heartfelt pleading to the loan shark who forcibly took his motorcycle as collateral.

A true mark of a rising Gen Z superstar is his ability to build chemistry with and match the performance of industry veterans in intense acting sparring. Kyle proved that age is no barrier to excelling in his big scenes alongside the industry’s titans. We were deeply moved when his father, Estong, played by screen luminary Joel Torre, brought him new shoes for his work. But then Estong erupted in fury upon seeing the wounds on Moi’s face and learning that Moi had been scammed in his attempt to get a loan and invest the money.

But maybe more than Estong’s anger, you couldn’t overlook the fact that he noticed what Moi needed—a new pair of shoes—and without being asked, he bought them. There was also this scene where Estong visited Moi at his dorm and warned him not to join the GSX fraternity as it’s a dangerous territory. Before his father left, Moi ran to give him a hug. On his face, a clear tapestry of different emotions – from fear, knowing he would disobey his father, to love, feeling Estong’s concern. And this ability to display different emotions in a single scene proves that Kyle is already a fully formed actor.

We also appreciate his tender moments with Shaina Magdayao, who portrays his adoptive sister, Grace. These two actors understood their roles perfectly, striking a balance of playfulness and sincerity in a dorm scene. When Grace visited Moi, she subtly expressed how much she would miss him and lovingly assured him that she would take care of his needs and expenses. Grace was immensely proud of him, as was their father, she believed. However, one line cut deeper than the others when Moi corrected Grace for calling him "anak," emphasizing that he was adopted.

A skilled actor knows how to share the spotlight and create chemistry with his co-star, and Kyle exemplifies this in his scenes with Grae Fernandez, resulting in a gripping acting showdown each time. Their first encounter set the stage, with Justin (Grae) accidentally bumping into Moi and accusing him of possibly staging the car incident as a scam. Tensions escalated when police officers intervened, but the incident was quickly dismissed upon learning Justin's affiliation with the 'Sagrado' clan, with the officer implying his untouchable status in town.

Their teamwork was so effective that we could feel the palpable tension between them when Moi joined GSX and became Justin's subordinate. The fear was tangible as he rode in Justin's car while the latter was drunk driving. Moi's quiet prayer for his life felt incredibly real.

Even though his first scene with Piolo Pascual, who portrays Governor Rafael Sagrado, was fast-paced and action-packed, Kyle knew exactly how to hit the bull’s eye, painting the scene with gripping suspense as he fell to his knees with arms raised, facing Rafael's gun.
