As avid viewers of Kapamilya series Pira-Pirasoong Paraiso, we can say that we’ve already witnessed how twisted Badong (Epy Quizon)’s character is, making him one of the most hated in the series. Just the fact that he and his wife Osang (Sunshine Dizon) have worked for a syndicate that kidnaps children – they ended up adopting Baby (Loisa Andalio), Hilary (Elisse Joson), and Kano (Markus Paterson) and ruining their lives – is truly unforgivable. But to deprive Baby of the chance to know her real identity and even use her to extract money from her own family takes the villainy much, much graver.

He falsely intertwined Baby’s fate with her biological sister Diana (Charlie Dizon) by telling the former that he only fabricated the positive DNA test result. He did this to wrap Baby around his little finger and use her to quietly steal Diana’s money – his calculated move proving not only his conniving nature but also the lengths he is willing to go to for personal gain.

Thinking that there’s no way out of the miserable path he chose, he will see to it that nobody in his family leaves as well. He was mad learning about Baby's plan to pursue her studies and become an architect. Unwilling to let her go, he manipulated the situation, asserting authority by claiming her indebtedness to him.

Gaslighting was his weapon of choice whenever Baby expressed her wish to end the charade of being Diana’s sister. When confronted, he’d brag about saving Baby, Hilary, and Kano from the bus accident when they were kids, when the truth is he just abducted them when the accident happened.

He’s verbally abusive and manipulative. But, of course, he crosses the line and gets physical with the helpless women in his household. In a heated argument with Hilary, he resorted to violence, demonstrating his volatile temper by punching Hilary and lashing out at Baby and Osang. He then pointed a gun at Kano, who got into the mix trying to defend his sisters and mom.

Unrestrained by morality, there was a time when Badong continued beleaguering Baby even while in prison as revenge against her for choosing to protect Diana from his malicious schemes. So, as soon as he got released from jail, he punished Baby by beating her up after using Osang as a lure. He almost killed Baby had rescue failed to arrive on time, proving his ruthlessness and utter lack of empathy.

Money proves to be Badong’s ultimate motivation, pushing him to ally with the equally malevolent Jacinda (Snooky Serna). Together, they followed Baby and tortured her in an attempt to destroy her loyalty to Diana, but none of their tactics worked.

He then orchestrated a chilling hostage-taking incident in a hotel that put the Paraiso sisters Diana and Beth (Alexa Ilacad)’s lives in danger. Manipulating the situation, he ordered Baby to get the money from Diana so the latter would think she’s still involved in the syndicate.

In a shocking twist, he brought Baby to a secluded place and, after admitting that she is the real Amy Paraiso, callously ended her life. Much to his dissatisfaction, Baby defied death through Jonaf (Ronnie Alonte)’s heroic save.

The turn of events just convinced him to embrace the life of a criminal and stay loyal to the syndicate’s bossing, Criselda (Rosanna Roces), in exchange for money. We end this video montage with Badong’s heart-pounding attempt to kidnap Baby/Amy, propelled by a sinister agenda to deliver her to his enigmatic bossing.
