KDLex, or what the onscreen partnership of KD Estrada and Alexa Ilacad is called, is one of the hottest pairs in the country at present. But in spite of their immense popularity and having the opportunity to know them in a personal level through their slew of interviews, there are still things that we certainly do not know about them yet.

And the stars of the Pira-Pirasong Paraiso shared five interesting things that people may not know about them yet during their most recent exclusive interview with Entertainment.ABS-CBN.com!

First off, KD disclosed that he’s currently undergoing strength training and calisthenics, as he gets inspired by his loveteam partner. Ironically, Alexa shared a food-related trivia about herself, divulging that she’s actually the type who would order a lot since she usually finds it difficult to choose only one dish or viand. She would try all of them and consume them along with the people she is with until she’s able to come up with her favorite/s.

He may already have a few dogs, but KD revealed that he’s currently taking care of another dog, which is a new addition to their family. Meanwhile, when not busy with work or spending time with her loved ones and furbabies, Alexa may be caught watching the highly popular public service program hosted by Senator Raffy Tulfo on YouTube, which she confessed is her guilty pleasure.

Just in case you’ve noticed something different in KD’s physical appearance, it’s perhaps because he’s on a protein diet, which makes him leaner. And speaking of diet, Alexa disclosed that she tried to imitate the diet of their Pira-Pirasong Paraiso co-star Joseph Marco – who’s the “cleanest eater” she knows – but failed as she only got to maintain it for three days and gave up. She’s been trying to eat cleaner, but it just seems impossible for her.

Fans have surely seen that video of KDLex playing the popular toy lato-lato. Little we did know that it actually frustrates Alexa that she has not figured out yet the correct way of maneuvering it, and she’s really eager to learn as it poses as a challenge for her that other people can do it, but she cannot. KD jestingly appeased her by telling her to just simply accept the fact that they can’t do it and reminding her that it isn’t a life skill after all, so they don’t need to fret much about it.

While we already know him as a promising musician and actor, KD is adding another feather on his cap as he’s about to try putting up a café. According to him, most of their fans know that he sells coffee, but he wants to have a physical shop. So, he and his team have been scouring for location where they can have the store. He also took the opportunity to invite Alexa to try his coffee, which she gladly accepted as long as it’s decaf (or decaffeinated).

And lastly, Alexa revealed that she and KD actually have three “kids” in ABS-CBN, which are all three chubby male cats. They have been feeding them for a long time now, but they haven’t come up with names for them yet, so they ask viewers for suggestions. She went on to add that they actually used to feed a lot of felines inside the company premises, but only those three have remained.
