PBB Gen 11 housemates share the life lessons they wish to impart to other people

On July 20, 2024, the highly successful reality show <a href="https://ent.abs-cbn.com/pbbgen112024" target="_blank">Pinoy Big Brother</a> opened its doors again for its Gen 11 edition and welcomed the newest batch of housemates who are not just ready to take on the tasks of Kuya and prove themselves to the world, but to also make their dreams come true and inspire others.But aside from their true-to-life stories, each of the 15 housemates also carries with them lessons in life that they wish to impart to their housemates and viewers alike. And we compiled all of them into this exclusive video. First in line is “Ang Poginsyanong Pilo-To Be ng Quezon” JM Ibarra, who reminded us to always observe respect in every aspect of our lives. The “Optimistic Ate ng Dumaguete,” Jas Dudley-Scales, displayed her strong faith in God as she lives by her belief that “Your 50% is actually your 100% and the other 50% sa pie mo, it’s God working [His] way. So, you just do you, do everything that you can, and then, after that, let go and let God take the wheel. Trust the process. If it’s meant for you, it will be eventually be there and be given to you.”Jarren Garcia, the “Charming Crooner ng London,” also had a faith-related realization that he wishes other people would grasp as well. And that’s none other than the popular quote, “God’s rejection is my protection,” which, according to him, has helped him get through life.Dingdong Bahan, who is tagged the “Charismatic Partner ng Taguig,” related three stories of redirection and faith that transpired in his life that led him to the milestones that he has already attained. One of which was his once elusive dream of becoming part of PBB, which took 12 years to finally turn into reality.Somehow, Therese Villamor, the “Determined Daughter ng Camarines Sur,” relayed the same message as she mentioned the oft-quoted adage, “Everything happens for a reason.” She stated, “Huwag natin tingnan as negative ‘yong mga problems na dumadating sa life natin, mga challenges na binibigay sa’tin ni God since I believe po na everything happens for a reason and ‘yon po ang parang training ground kasi natin para ma-mold tayo into better versions of ourselves, to grow, and to be stronger.”Having been through a lot of difficulties in life growing up, &quot;Maabilidancing Dong ng South Cotabato&quot; Binsoy Namoca shared that one of the important values he learned is to always be happy with what we have because regardless of what they are, it is God that gave them to us.The “Singing Gwapa ng Cebu” Kai Montinola also wants to remind everyone to be happy with themselves and to never compare themselves to other people. Certainly, we cannot please everybody, and someone will always try to put you down. But what matters most at the end of the day is that we’re able to satisfy ourselves and the significant people in our lives.It may already be cliché, but the “Sporty-Go-Lucky Kuya ng Camarines Norte” Marc Nanninga Jr. firmly believes that each one of us has our own timelines or pace. Somehow, it was in line with what the “Ma-cute-lit na Raketera ng General Santos” Kolette Madelo imparted, conveying that we all have chances in life, so we must take our shots.We may have heard or seen it a lot of times already, but Patrick Ramirez, the “Go-Getter Partner ng Manila” reiterated that we must never give up, especially to ourselves. He expounded, “At the end of the day, walang ibang magtitiwala sa’yo kundi ang sarili mo, and I think, lahat naman ng pinagdaanan natin sa buhay, mahirap man ‘yan or madali, lahat ‘yan kaya natin. Sadyang kalaban lang natin ang sarili natin.”He added, “So, ‘wag kayong sumuko. And kung mag-fail man kayo, bangon agad kasi ang failure naman, isa lang ‘yan sa ingredients para maging successful ka in life.”Housemate Noime Steikunas also talked about being relentless about achieving our dreams. The &quot;Mombitious Chikadora ng Lithuania” said “Patuloy na mangarap at huwag titigil kahit saang parte ka man ng buhay ngayon. Dream big and aim high.”The same goes for Dylan Yturralde, the “Astig Volleybae ng Pampanga,” who stated, “Kapag may pangarap ka at binigay sa’yo ni Lord ang vision na ‘yon, walang imposible. Kailangan mo lang siyang trabahuhin. And with the right actions, with prayer, and blessing from other people, makakamit at makakamit mo ‘yan. Maniwala ka lang.”Meanwhile, the hard times of her life have made the “Cheerfu-Langga ng Cebu,” Rain Celmar, realize that everything we have, especially the material ones, is just temporary. The only things that will constantly stick with us are ourselves and our family. As Kanata Tapia witnessed how her mom bravely faced the challenges of being abandoned by her supposed partners in life, she shared that it has inspired her to build herself into a strong and independent woman. This way, the “Lola-loving Apo ng Occidental Mindoro” is confident that once she unfortunately finds herself in the same situation one day, she knows that she will be filled with strength and she can get through it even all by herself. And lastly, the eldest housemate in this edition, Brx Ruiz, recounted how getting sick while at work made him realize the importance of investing on his health and taking good care of himself. The “Seamanluluto ng Bacolod” expounded that it’s because there’s no definite assurance that your workplace or colleagues will care about you, maybe only some will show concern. In the end, it’s only yourself to whom you can truly depend on. He also added that we must be always grateful despite of difficulties in life and to surround ourselves with the right people who genuinely love and believe in you.
