It’s going to be a fair weather weekend, Kapamilya, with the exit of Leon and no weather disturbance sighted in the next 2-3 days, weather bureau PAGASA said Friday.

PAGASA weather forecaster Rhea Torres said Leon has weakened into a severe tropical storm and has exited the Philippine area of responsibility Friday.

As of 4 a.m., the center of Leon was estimated based on all available data at 550 km North Northwest of Itbayat, Batanes. No wind signal is in effect all over the country.

Torres said the extension or trough of Leon may still bring scattered rainshowers in Zambales, Bataan, Palawan and Occidental Mindoro,

Metro Manila and the rest of the country are expected to experience fair weather, with occasional rainshowers and localized thunderstorms.
