The Commission on Elections has set its calendar for the 2025 Bangsamoro Elections.

Comelec spokesman Rex Laudiangco said the poll body set May 15, 2024 to June 7, 2024 as the period for “Regional Parliament Political Parties” to file their petition for registration or accreditation.

The same period will also serve as the schedule for “Regional Parliament Sectoral Organizations” to file the same before the Comelec.

Comelec gets over 2 million applications for voter registration 

The deadline for the submission of SIUSI or Sworn Information Update Statement by the registered political parties, including the coalition of political parties, is August 15, 2024. 

The submission must be done before the Political Finance and Affairs Department (PFAD).

Meanwhile, the deadline to file the “Petition or Accreditation of a Coalition” in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao is also on August 15. 

The Comelec scheduled the filing of the “Manifestation of Intent to Participate in the Parliamentary Election of Party Representatives" until August 30, 2024.

The BARMM elections will coincide with the May 2025 midterm elections.
