Dagupan City in Pangasinan and Aparri in Cagayan are on the hot list this week, with a 47 degree Celsius heat index forecast in the next 2 days, according to weather bureau PAGASA.

Metro Manila is facing 42-degree Celsius heat index on Monday after experiencing 43-degree weather over the weekend.

Laoag City, CBSUA-Pili, Camarines Sur; and Guiuan, Eastern Samar are also on the hot list with 45 degree Celsius heat index.

Six areas are facing 44 degree Celsius heat index this Monday: Bacnotan, La Union; Tuguegarao City, Cagayan; San Jose, Occidental Mindoro; Virac, Catanduanes; Roxas City, Capiz; and Catbalogan, Samar.
