Ana brings passengers snacks and drinks that he waded through chest-high floodwater to get. <em>Photo Courtesy: Chloe Dela Cruz</em></span></span></span></div><p>MANILA — Pictures of a bus conductor submerged in chest-high flood in Marilao, Bulacan on Wednesday, have been circulating online and gaining positive reactions from social media users, </p><p>&quot;Ang main reason ko talaga na naisipan kong i-post kinabukasan ‘yong ginawa niyang pagtulong sa amin ay gusto ko pong makarating din ‘yon sa bus company nila na napaka-suwerte nila for having an employee like him na hindi lang dedicated sa trabaho kundi beyond the call of duty na ang ginawa niya,” said Chloe Dela Cruz, uploader and one of the stranded passengers.</p><p>According to Dela Cruz, the bus was bound for Cubao in Quezon City when they were stranded in Marilao for more than eight hours due to the persistent heavy rainfall brought about by the southwest monsoon enhanced by Super Typhoon Carina. </p><p>The bus conductor offered to buy the passengers food while they were all stranded.</p><p>“No’ng una nag-offer pa kami na magpapabili, as in manggagaling sa sarili naming bulsa ‘yong pambili tapos sabi niya sa amin ‘hindi na, ako na ‘yan’. Ana also guided and accompanied some of the passengers, again through chest-high water, to a convenience store later in the evening.</p><p>“Para sa akin talagang gawin mo lahat para sa mga pasahero. Gagawin mo lahat mabigyan lang sila ng magandang serbisyo kasi tungkulin namin ‘yon bilang konduktor na asikasuhin ang pasahero dahil tinuro din po kasi sa amin sa kumpanya ‘yon e,” Sta. Ana said.</p><p>Sta. Ana&#x27;s exemplary behavior has reached the management of the bus company, which has commended him for doing the right thing despite taking a risk.</p><p>“Ako po’y lubos na natutuwa dahil po siyempre ‘yong mga seminar na ibinibigay sa kanila ay kanilang ginagampanan kaya ako po ay lubos na natutuwa sa empleyado namin na ‘yan,” said Armando Santos, Sta. Ana&#x27;s boss said.</p><p>Sta.
