<p>MANILA — The search for Pastor Apollo Quiboloy entered its 12th day on Wednesday, with the Philippine National Police saying their hunt for the religious leader is being delayed by resistance from his church&#x27;s members.</p><p>Quiboloy has been wanted by Philippine courts since April for alleged abuse and trafficking crimes, which he and his followers deny.</p><p>Around 2,000 police officers began trooping to the 30-hectare Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC) property in Davao City on August 24 to serve arrest warrants for Quiboloy.</p><p>Since then, there has been no letup in the police&#x27;s search for the fugitive preacher, which reportedly included drilling inside the compound to reach an underground bunker where he allegedly hides.</p><div><a href="https://news.abs-cbn.com/news/2024/8/26/operation-at-kojc-compound-could-end-months-long-search-for-quiboloy-1855" id="isPasted">READ: Operation at KOJC compound could end months-long search for Quiboloy</a></div><p>&quot;The extensive area of the KOJC coupled with the complexities of its facilities and resistance from members [of the KOJC] makes the implementation and execution of the arrest difficult,&quot; Davao Region police spokesperson PMaj. No one is spared. Ang nakakalungkot pati pamilya natin ay idinadamay.
