Our ‘love team’ obsessions will be coming back soon to bring us bigger plot twists and higher levels of thrill – and ‘kilig’.

The cast of “Senior High” was reunited one afternoon, but this time, it was no ordinary get-together. Instead, they reunited for a story conference and to officially announce the sequel to their hit dark drama series, which will be called High Street.”

As early as now, fans are formulating a new set of theories, expectations, and dream subplots for their favorite characters. Everyone is thrilled to witness the adult versions of the Northford High students including the campus tandems TimPoch and RoxChie, as Season 2 will unfold five years after the Northfordians’ graduation.

During the story conference, Zaijian Jaranilla and Miggy Jimenez, who portray Tim and Poch, respectively, shared their wish for their characters to address acceptance of LGBTQ relationships. To recall, the two were last seen being open about their gay love story in the first season.

Miggy also wants to know how Poch will recover from his traumatic past, “Kumbaga, may ray of light naman siya which is si Tim, pero sana meron pa siyang ibang layers na pwede pagkuhaan ng happiness.”

Meanwhile, Xyriel Manabat and Elijah Canlas, who will continue to paint the roles of Roxy and Archie, hope for more screen time for their characters. Like all RoxChie shippers out there, Xyriel is excited to know whether Roxy will learn to soften her heart for Archie, the father of her child. Elijah agreed, adding that he wants a beach scene for them and that he’s thrilled to be working with the additional cast members.

Gela Atayde and Tommy Alejandrino, who play Sanya and Kenji, respectively, are certain that Season 2 will offer higher stakes for the characters since it highlights their adulting phase. No petty high school drama here.

“Even if we know a bit what’s going to happen, we don’t really know how it’s gonna go,” pondered Tommy. Meanwhile, Gela is looking forward to getting to know Sanya better and to seeing how she and the rest of the characters will have evolved five years after their Senior High School graduation.

“High Street” also features returning lead cast members Andrea Brillantes, JK Labajo, and Angel Aquino, along with Mon Confiado, Ana Abad-Santos, Gerald Madrid, Angeli Bayani, and Inka Magnaye.

The new season also welcomes new cast members: Harvey Bautista, AC Bonifacio, and Ralph de Leon.
