When it wrapped up last January, ardent fans of Senior High already sensed that it would have a sequel, based on everything that transpired in the finale episode. And it’s finally happening soon as Dreamscape Entertainment is about to bring us “High Street,” the much-awaited continuation to the well-loved, controversial teen series.

However, just when we assume that it will follow the lives of the Northford High alumni after graduating from senior high, it is disclosed in this interview with veteran stars Mon Confiado and Ana Abad Santos that the narrative will bring us to how their lives have unfolded five years later when all of them have already finished college and are part of the workforce. As we all know, they play Governor William Acosta and Dr. Cecille Acosta, the parents of Juan Karlos’ character Gino.

While Ana wasn’t expecting at all for the sequel to happen, Mon confessed that he actually “medyo umasa na” since his scheming and wicked character, whom the audiences arguably hated because of all the debauch things he did, was revealed to be still alive after falling off a high structure.

Mon hinted that the suspense in “High Street would be greater since the narrative will not only focus on the younger characters, but on the older ones and each of the families as well. There’s also going to be a possibility of witnessing a massive and intense revenge plot, particularly on the part of Gov. Acosta, and the unraveling of more secrets that weren’t unearthed in the first season. Mon is also thrilled about the entrance of their new co-stars, especially the ones whose characters are going to be at his side.

Likewise, the group of Rans Rifol, Angeli Bayani, Gerald Madrid, and Inka Magnaye are also looking forward to what’s in store for the actors and viewers alike in the highly anticipated sequel. Seeing the young characters in their “adulting” era is what excites Rans and Gerald, while the thought of finally being able to go out of their house is what stirs Angeli up. Inka, on the other hand, wishes to share more scenes with them and for her character Becca to form a tighter bond with Sky (Andrea Brillantes), the daughter of his best friend Tanya (Angel Aquino).

Playing Ria Cristobal, the older sister of Xyriel Manabat’s Roxy, Rans is excited to see how her younger sister will turn out to be, especially since she got pregnant with her child with Archie (Elijah Canlas). At the same time, Angeli wants to find out if the marriage of her character Edith with Gerald’s Elmo, parents of Zaijian Jaranilla’s well-loved character Tim, are able to survive the test of time.
