The top three is his confrontation with Tonio (Rap Robes), which was their characters’ reunion after a long while. He mentioned that he found immense satisfaction in the scene’s outcome, given that it marked their characters’ first emotional encounter.

Next on the list is his acting sparring with veteran actress Sylvia Sanchez. Here, Obet has gone through a rollercoaster of emotions as he just came from an encounter with the cops when he learned that his beloved grandma, Lydia, whom he fondly calls “Amam,” was rushed to the hospital. The chaos in Obet’s emotion as he expressed his worries was so beautiful, so breathtaking, so palpable that we felt his soul.

The Kapamilya actor himself felt the weight of his character’s baggage, hence picking this scene as his second favorite, “’Yung iyak ko kasi kay Amam, it felt like Obet’s first time to be that vulnerable sa Amam niya, like, really break and show na, 'Gusto lang kitang alagaan.'”

Making it to the top of his list – you guessed it right – is his romantic prom scene with Andrea Brillantes’ Sky Cruz. Unlike prom scenes in typical coming-of-age dramas that focus on saccharine sweet moments, this one had more depth and bittersweet perfection as Obet poured his heart into a sincere confession. That moment was immaculate.

“Just because of how beautiful the whole story was tied up. Parang paraehas silang ang dami nang pinagdaanan, ang dami nang nangyari sa buhay nila. Ngayon, gusto lang nila makatanggap ng pagmamahal galing sa isa’ isa,” he remarked.

“Beautiful scene! Sobra po akong masaya sa eksena na ‘yun,” he further commented.
