UAAP: La Salle taps Derrick Pumaren as new head coach

MANILA, Philippines – Derrick Pumaren will be the new head coach of the De La Salle Green Archers, <a href="https://www.facebook.com/dlsusports/posts/2533778903417514">the university announced</a> on Tuesday morning. It will be a homecoming of sorts for Pumaren, who coached the Green Archers from 1986 to 1991 and led the team to two championships in 1989 and 1990. Pumaren coached University of the East from 2014 to 2017. He failed to lead the Red Warriors to the Final 4 during his stint, compiling a 21-35 record.
