After training alongside the likes of Floyd Mayweather Jr. and even Broner, he’s glad to be back.</p><p>“They don’t understand what they do for us as sparring partners . . . I have fans because of Manny, just me being a sparring partner and then people knowing my name, that’s the best thing that can happen as a fighter because people want to know, they want to see you fight if they know you have a following,” he said.</p><p>“I have plenty of people that follow my career just because they know I’ve been in camp with Manny, so it’s a blessing and honor to have that.”</p><ul class="op-related-articles">	<li><a href="https://news.abs-cbn.com/video/sports/01/08/19/watch-is-jimuel-pacquiao-following-his-dads-footsteps">WATCH: Is Jimuel Pacquiao following his dad’s footsteps?</a></li></ul><p>From Australia, undefeated lightweight fighter George Kambosos Jr. has been sparring with Pacquiao for his past 3 fights. </p><p>He’s also taking the ring on January 19 in the undercard.</p><p>“He loves the work that I put in with him, he loves the work that I give him. We’ve done over 150 rounds of sparring now . . . There’s some great names and great fighters who have trained alongside this man and I’m the next guy,” said Kambosos.</p><p>New York fighter Arnold Gonzales, 23, wasn’t even born yet when Pacquiao debuted in the pro ranks in 1995. He’s now trading punches with the fighting senator and was the recipient of a bloody nose during a recent session.</p><p>“It’s like a dream come true. I grew up watching Manny, I grew up watching Freddie Roach. I was what 10, 11, 12, 13 years old watching them win fights, knocking everybody out and just dominate boxing and now to be in camp with them like I said it’s a dream come true,” said Gonzales, who kept on sparring after Pacquiao gave him a bloody nose. </p><p>He is also hoping to get some undercard action in Las Vegas.</p><p>For more sports coverage, visit the <a href="http://sports.abs-cbn.com">ABS-CBN Sports website</a>.</p>
