Photo from Pacquiao&#x27;s Instagram page</div></figcaption></figure></div> MANILA — Having a busy man such as Manny Pacquiao go on a 4-fight “farewell tour” is “next to impossible.” Sports analyst Dennis Principe said that, with Pacquiao’s busy schedule in the Senate, it&#x27;s a long shot to schedule Pacquiao to train for and fight that many bouts. “Parang next to impossible yung plano ni (boxing promoter Bob) Arum. With Manny Pacquiao, you have to deal with his schedule, ‘yung time nya especially now he&#x27;s very conscious about his role as a legislator,” Principe said in a phone interview. “If you notice ‘di ba he has a near perfect attendance in every hearing na nangyari, which is a testament to his dedication (as a senator). He prefers to have a fight during recess ng Congress.” Arum recently <a href="http://www.latimes.com/sports/boxing/la-sp-pacquiao-horn-fight-20170110-story.html" target="_blank">brought up</a> a plan to put together a 4-fight &quot;farewell tour&quot; for Pacquiao starting with Jeff Horn in Australia in April. The WBO welterweight title fight has been penciled for April 23. This will be followed with another fight in Russia or Middle East in July, England in September and Las Vegas in November. Pacquiao typically trains for 2 months for a fight. This could cause a serious conflict with his calendar as a lawmaker, Principe said. “&#x27;Di naman laban lang e, training camp which is 2 months. If you talk of four fights you&#x27;re talking of 8 months of training sa buong taon,” he said. (It&#x27;s not just the fights, but the training camp which is two months.) Principe said that this could be the reason the Pacquiao camp balked at accepting a $5-million offer to fight an unknown such as Horn. “Perhaps ang message dun ni Manny is that, if you can give me the amount that I deserve, siguro I can consider,” he said. Regarding the $5-million offer, Principe said the promoters may have been putting into equation the financial risks of staging a bout in Australia. “Kung titignan mo, may malaking risk ‘yung mga promoters dito,” said Principe. “They&#x27;re probably trying to manage the risk baka makumbinsi nila si Manny. They want to make Manny realize na uncharted territory ito eh. First time nilang lumaban sa Australia, different time zone, di nila alam ang reaction ng fans dun. Are they fans of Manny? Are they fans of boxing? ‘Yun ang malaking gamble. “But definitely Manny deserves more than the $5 million.
