MANILA – Phoenix’s Doug Kramer has joined team practices 3 months after he suffered a mild stroke that sidelined him from the basketball.In a <a href="https://www.facebook.com/pg/pbaofficial/videos/?ref=page_internal" target="_blank">Twitter</a> Q&amp;A held by the PBA, the 6-foot-5 center-forward said that his progress has been good.“I&#x27;m doing very well. The past 6-7 weeks, I was working out talaga. I&#x27;ve been joining team practice already but no contacts yet. I&#x27;ll do that next week,” Kramer told his fans. “God&#x27;s grace has been overflowing.”He said that if things continue to go well, he’d probably be back in the PBA court by the end of the PBA Philippine Cup.“I&#x27;ve been doing a lot of weightlifting and conditioning and practices I&#x27;ve been running up and own with the team already, drills and conditioning. 5-on-5 will be next week, I&#x27;ll join,” narrated Kramer. “Kelan ako makakabalik? Maybe by the end of this conference, but the target is next conference talaga.”Kramer, a 10-year veteran, acknowledged that he missed playing with the big guys. He had to hold himself from joining 5-on-5 games because he wasn’t allowed by doctors.Kramer was hospitalized for 6 days in October after experiencing some dizziness while working out.Doctors found a tiny congenital hole in his heart, which caused a clot.Since then, he has learned to treasure his time with his family and health.
