Three months after her Bellator premiere, there is no stopping Ana &quot;The Hurricane&quot; Julaton.The Filipino-American fighter will square off with boxing star Heather Hardy in the Bellator MMA ring on Feb. 16 at the Mohegan Sun Casino &amp; Resort in Connecticut.&quot;It&#x27;s gonna be an explosive fight...We are gonna have a back-to-back battle. We are gonna meet first in the cage and we will eventually have a rematch in the ring,&quot; she said.Julaton&#x27;s striking coach, Angelo Reyes, said the 37-year-old fighter wanted to prove everyone in this fight that she&#x27;s the one to beat.&quot;Look, there&#x27;s a difference between a world champion boxer going into MMA and someone who&#x27;s never even won [a] world title in boxing before coming into MMA,&quot; he said.Julaton has been constantly training after a split decision defeat to Lisa Blaine in October last year.The upcoming fight, she said, is a fruition of what was shelved a few years back.“I&#x27;m trying to put together and create a full circle, but for this particular one, I definitely want to put some knockouts,&quot; Julaton said.Julaton said this fight is not only a bid for redemption, but a battle on who has the takeaways in the ring.“Just be me. Just go in there. Just showcase what I&#x27;m good at. Focusing on my boxing and just getting in there. Just putting up a heck of a fight,” she added.Meanwhile, former UFC heavyweight champion Frank Mir is now Julaton&#x27;s stablemate. Julaton and Mir train together under Reyes.“Ana is a very accomplished boxer. We [working] together is great because I know I&#x27;m moving away, not to hurt each other,” he said.Mir, who is notorious for his grappling skills, shared his MMA techniques to Julaton.“Ana has been in so many wars and her mental fortitude is incredible. You never see her panic in a fight, even in losses. You see her fighting,” he said.Th Julaton versus Hardy fight is on the main card for Bellator 194. The two will meet again in a boxing match after the Feb. 16 face-off.
