Handout</figcaption></figure></div>University of Santo Tomas and Far Eastern University in Diliman posted their first victories in the girls division, as UAAP Season 82 high school beach volleyball debuted at Sands SM By The Bay Saturday.Vanessa Bangayan and Jullana Carreon of the Junior Tigresses overcame a tough stand by De La Salle-Zobel&#x27;s Aira Jaboneta and Gerzel Petallo to win 21-10, 24-26, 15-11 and make history in the league&#x27;s first girls match. Nikka Medina and Alexandra Juangco of the Baby Tamaraws withstood Ateneo&#x27;s Celina Vergeire and Ady Lasala for a 22-20, 21-19 win. University of the East also had a successful opening day.Chris Ann Susbilla and Dea Villamor of the Junior Warriors made quick work of Adamson&#x27;s Mary Grace Borromeo and Ayesha Juegos 21-9, 21-14.Nazareth School of National University drew an opening day bye, and will see action Sunday with games against FEU and Adamson.
