San Beda University completed the Final Four cast in NCAA Season 95 women’s volleyball by beating Mapua University 25-19, 25-17, 25-19 at FilOil Flying V Centre in San Juan on Tuesday.Nieza Viray starred in the Lady Red Spikers’ all-important sixth win in eight outings to join unbeaten College of Saint Benilde (7-0), three-time defending champion Arellano University (6-1) and University of Perpetual Help (6-2) in the next round.Viray pounded 12 attacks, three aces and a pair of kill blocks for 17 points and added 12 digs for San Beda, which also bolstered its chances of landing twice-to-beat advantage. Cesca Racraquin scored all of her 12 points off attacks and had three excellent receptions for the Lady Red Spikers while Kim Manzano posted 11 markers.“At least na-secure na namin &#x27;yung Final Four so kailangan namin mas maging hungrier pa kasi papalapit na &#x27;yung semis,” said San Beda coach Nemesio Gavina. “Mas maganda kasi nakikita ko &#x27;yung mga bata talagang napupursigi so maganda sa amin &#x27;yun. &#x27;Yung morale nila mataas tapos &#x27;yung maturity sa game nandiyan.”The Lady Cardinals absorbed their seventh defeat in eight games.
