UAAP Media</figcaption></figure></div>MANILA, Philippines – (UPDATED) Nazareth School of National University (NU) continues to be the standard-bearer when it comes to high school basketball.The Bullpups completed a perfect season on Monday after defeating Far Eastern University (FEU)-Diliman, 87-80, in Game 2 of the UAAP Season 82 boys&#x27; basketball Finals at the FilOil Flying V Centre in San Juan.The Bullpups won all 16 of their games in the tournament and secured back-to-back crowns for the first time in school history.In a game held behind closed doors due to the COVID-19 threat, the Bullpups led from wire-to-wire to complete a 2-0 sweep of the best-of-3 series. They extended their winning streak to 27 games, and claimed their fifth boys&#x27; title in the last nine years.&quot;Nakakatuwa kasi lahat ng pinaghirapan namin, it paid off,&quot; said coach Goldwin Monteverde, who will now handle NU&#x27;s men&#x27;s basketball team come September. &quot;We sustained our focus and energy of the players throughout the whole year.&quot;<ul class="op-related-articles">	<li><a href="https://sports.abs-cbn.com/uaap/news/2020/03/09/adamson-stays-alive-winner-take-game-3-66894">READ: Adamson stays alive for winner-take-all Game 3</a></li></ul>After trailing by as much as 17 points, the Baby Tamaraws were able to cut down the deficit to single digits, 72-79.But the graduating seniors Kevin Quiambao, Carl Tamayo, and Gerry Abadiano delivered the killer blows in the final 4:02 that sealed another championship for the Bullpups.NU duplicated the feat of Ateneo&#x27;s men&#x27;s and NU&#x27;s women&#x27;s teams which earlier in the basketball season went undefeated in 16 games.Tamayo, who was named the Finals MVP for the second straight year, produced a monster double-double outing of 26 points and 22 rebounds.
