Al-Hussaini lands in NLEX in 3-team trade

<div class="embed-wrap"><figure data-feedback="fb:likes,fb:comments"><img src="http://sa.kapamilya.com/absnews/abscbnnews/media/2017/sports/03/28/032817_al.jpg"/><figcaption><div class="embed-desc">Rabeh Al-Hussaini is headed to NLEX. <cite>Photo courtesy of the PBA Media Bureau</cite></div></figcaption></figure></div><p>MANILA, Philippines – The NLEX Road Warriors beefed up their frontcourt by adding former PBA Rookie of the Year Rabeh Al-Hussaini via a three-team trade.</p><p>The Meralco Bolts sent Al-Hussaini to Blackwater Elite in exchange for a second-round pick in the 2018 PBA Draft.</p><p>The Elite then sent Al-Hussaini to NLEX, in exchange for a 2017 second-round pick that it previously sent to the Road Warriors.</p><ul class="op-related-articles">	<li><a href="http://sports.abs-cbn.com/basketball/news/2017/03/20/patience-remains-virtue-yeng-guiao-nlex-23535">READ: Patience remains a virtue for Yeng Guiao in NLEX</a></li></ul><p>Al-Hussaini, who won Rookie of the Year in 2011 but has had an underwhelming PBA career, averaged 6.3 points and 2.1 rebounds in 13.6 minutes per game during Meralco&#x27;s campaign in the 2016 PBA Philippine Cup.</p><p>However, he has not suited up for the Bolts so far in the Commissioner&#x27;s Cup.</p><p>The trade reunites Al-Hussaini with Yeng Guiao, who was his first coach in the PBA when he was drafted by the Air21 Express as the second pick in 2010.</p><p>For more sports coverage, visit the ABS-CBN <a href="http://sports.abs-cbn.com" target="_blank">Sports website.</a></p>
