He stepped back into the ring on New Year&#x27;s Eve, however, for an exhibition match against Japanese kickboxer Tenshin Nasukawa.</p><p>After that bout, Mayweather reiterated that he was still retired.</p><p>Asked by Gray about a possible Pacquiao rematch on live TV just after Pacquiao beat Broner, Mayweather remained stony-faced and silent when he was shown on camera.</p><p>The first bout between Pacquiao and Mayweather took more than half a decade to put together, before they finally faced off on May 2, 2015.
