But Arwind Santos is a bit hard-headed. Santos did it anew but he escaped the penalty -- at least just for this game. He admitted that he did not ask the PBA any permission to do it in Pangasinan. “Di ko pinaalam, ‘di naman nila ako winarningan. Wala naman akong memo na bawal ‘yun at mapa-fine ako dito kaya ginawa ko,” Santos revealed after receiving his MVP plum along with Japeth Aguilar. However, Marcial insisted no excuses will be made if the dunks are made in a regular PBA match. “Ano ito, just for fun. Kita mo, ginagawa nila June Mar, nila Benjie para maging masaya. Sa game, talagang may fine,” Marcial explained. Santos jokingly went on to hint that he might do it again in the All-Filipino Cup and will just use the All-Star as an excuse. “Pag nag-dunk ako sa PBA, sa All-Filipino, sabihin ko na lang ay akala ko All-Star nakalimutan ko, sorry. Para di nila ako i-technical,” he said in jest.Santos also thanked the PBA for naming him one of the MVPs in the game as he thought Aguilar already had it in the bag even before the final buzzer.“Hindi ako nagdalawang isip na sabihin kay Japeth, &#x27;Japeth, akin na ‘yung trophy ah. Sa &#x27;yo na ‘yung susunod.&#x27; Ang masaya rito, alam ko &#x27;yung mga kasama ko eh, parang isang team kami, parang hindi kami magkakaibang team,” Santos said. Wheelchair donations also fueled Santos and other PBA All-Stars to score more dunks and three-pointers. A major sponsor of the annual games promised to donate wheelchair for every jams and trey made in the match. Both squad were able to raise 82 wheelchairs after hitting 45 three-pointers and 37 dunks in Pangasinan. “Maliban sa gusto namin mapasaya ‘yung mga taga-Pangasinan, gusto rin naming maraming mai-donate kasi bawat dunk may isang wheelchair, napakalaking bagay sa amin ‘yun. Kaya binigay namin yung best namin para dumami yung dunks,” Santos quipped. Meanwhile, the North All-Stars of Santos also emerged as the best dance group between the two teams which he took very seriously. He can afford to lose the game, according to him, than lose the dance-off. Their performance featured mixed music that became viral to Filipinos in different ages such as “Dying Inside to Hold You” and “Lean With It.”“May suggestions si Paul Lee, may suggestions din si Marc Pingris. Talagang nakita ko na gusto nila manalo kaya natutuwa ako na pinagbutihan namin. Kung matatalo kami sa dance-off kanina, parang masakit sa amin eh,” he narrated. “Di baleng matalo kami sa game huwag lang sa dance.
