<p>Dave Bautista, the former WWE world champion turned actor, announced his official retirement from sports entertainment after one last match at WrestleMania 35 on Sunday at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey (Monday in Manila).</p><p>&quot;Batista&quot; lost to Triple H in a No Holds Barred match at WrestleMania 35, with WWE Hall-of-Famer Ric Flair providing an assist. Triple H&#x27;s wrestling career was on the line in the match.</p><p>Batista had made his official return to WWE on February 25, attacking Flair backstage during his birthday celebration. Afterward, he issued a challenge to Triple H that &quot;The Game&quot; eventually accepted.</p><p>Known for playing Drax in Marvel&#x27;s &quot;Guardians of the Galaxy&quot; movies, Batista confirmed after the match that it would be his last in the WWE.</p><p>&quot;Tonight was my story book ending and I wanted to leave you with all I had to give. I’ll miss this theater of violence more than I can express in words but I am officially retiring from Sports Entertainment,&quot; announced the 50-year-old Batista.</p><p>&quot;I’m proud of what I’ve accomplished, I leave in great health, and without a doubt the show will go on.
