The statement was signed by team managers Rolando Delfino and Alan Acero.If Valdez is indeed a no-show on Monday, that may put her inclusion for the nation&#x27;s Southeast Asian Games team in jeopardy, as head coach Francis Vicente has hinted in previous reports that it is her last chance to prove her dedication to the cause. Valdez has reportedly missed several of the national team&#x27;s practices due to other commitments.Creamline said it hopes that Larong Volleyball sa Pilipinas Inc., can understand its decision and stressed that its parent company, Republic Biscuit Corp. (Rebisco), remains committed to supporting Philippine volleyball.&quot;Rest assured that our team is committed to providing support to the extent possible for (Valdez) to fulfill her commitments for flag and country,&quot; the team said.&quot;Rebisco . . . will continue to back the LVPI by way of the Rebisco-PSL team, which will compete in Kazakhstan later this month. We firmly believe in the bright future of Philippine volleyball, and will do all we can to aid in its development.&quot;Meanwhile, Pocari Sweat team manager Eric Ty said that both Myla Pablo and Elaine Kasilag will not be allowed to play either, due to various injuries.&quot;As a precaution, we want them to have as much rest as possible in preparation for our crucial PVL game on the 16th of May,&quot; Ty said in a statement.Pablo already played in pain in the game against Valdez&#x27;s Creamline last Thursday, with the former National University star needing to wear a brace to help alleviate the pain in her back.&quot;I wish that the organizers of the &#x27;Clash of Heroes&#x27; took the time to formally inform us of their intention to have our players participate in their event, so I could have requested the PVL to reschedule our game on the 16th in order to give way to the &#x27;Clash of Heroes,&#x27; &quot; Ty added.Given this, Ty said the club will fully understand if both Pablo and Kasilag are removed from the national team training pool.&quot;At all events, we reassure our fans that we fully support both Myla and Elaine in their dreams of making it as members of the national team,&quot; he said.The &quot;Clash of Heroes&quot; pits members of the national team training pool against each other, and would have seen Valdez team up with former collegiate rival Mika Reyes to take on a team composed of veterans.There will also be a men&#x27;s match wherein NCAA MVP Johnvic de Guzman leads a team against a squad that&#x27;s supposed to be spearheaded by UAAP MVP Marck Espejo.
