Kai Sotto received formal offers from NCAA Division 1 universities and colleges, but turned them down to join the NBA G League instead.This was confirmed by his manager, Patty Scott, during a conference call after Sotto made his decision official.&quot;We were fortunate and blessed to visit, Kai got to visit (University of) Kentucky, and we went to Auburn (University) and Georgia Tech (Georgia Institute of Technology),&quot; said Scott, who added that Sotto was also &quot;in communication&quot; with University of Southern California, University of Georgia, and Boston College.&quot;All of the coaches definitely connected with Kai and definitely expressed interest and wanted him to come to those universities and colleges.
