There, he will play with other top recruits -- including 7-foot-2 Filipino center Kai Sotto -- in a select team that will get topnotch coaching and life skills training. Green&#x27;s contract with the G League is reportedly worth $500,000.&quot;He&#x27;s one of those guys that can probably go right from high school into a pro game,&quot; Cone said of Green, who was a consensus five-star recruit in his class, during a discussion aired on the<a href="https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=2514389965491544"> NBA Philippines</a> Facebook page.&quot;But being with the G League is gonna make him even more prepared,&quot; he added. &quot;They&#x27;re gonna prepare him, and he&#x27;s gonna know what the players are gonna be like.&quot;<ul class="op-related-articles">	<li><a href="https://sports.abs-cbn.com/boxing/news/2020/05/26/tito-ortiz-says-s-offered-fight-mike-tyson-68418">READ: MMA legend Tito Ortiz says he&#x27;s been offered a fight with Mike Tyson</a></li></ul>Cone has yet to see Green play in person, but the Filipino-American guard&#x27;s highlights are enough to convince the Barangay Ginebra coach that he is &quot;really special.&quot;Playing in the G League can only make Green better, especially as the level of competition there is steadily improving. Cone regularly scouts the G League for potential imports, and he sees &quot;tremendous talent&quot; in the league, as well as &quot;some really good coaching.&quot;Moreover, playing in the G League will keep Green and his teammates on the radar of NBA teams.&quot;The NBA guys are gonna be checking him out all day long,&quot; said Cone. &quot;It&#x27;s not like they&#x27;re gonna have to fly to North Carolina or Arizona to go see him. They&#x27;re gonna see them every day, so they&#x27;re gonna have that exposure all the time.&quot;&quot;They&#x27;re gonna have that exposure, and guys are gonna be watching them,&quot; he added. &quot;When he reaches the NBA -- and that&#x27;s gonna happen for sure -- he&#x27;s gonna go in very, very well-prepared.&quot;&quot;Probably the most well-prepared player that we may have seen,&quot; Cone predicted.As it is, Green is being projected as a potential top overall pick in the 2021 NBA Rookie Draft.
