PBA stars lend voices to US protests

<p>MANILA, Philippines -- Some players from the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) have spoken up regarding the ongoing protests in the United States after the death of an African-American man, George Floyd, at the hands of a white Minneapolis police officer.</p><p>Floyd died after the police officer, Derek Chauvin, knelt on his neck. The Minnesota National Guard has been armed, following detection by the FBI of a &quot;credible lethal threat&quot; against it. </p><p>Other states that have activated troops include Colorado, Georgia, Kentucky, Ohio, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, South Carolina.
