MANILA (UPDATE) —Blacklist International are going to the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Southeast Asia Cup after easily defeating Indonesia's EVOS Legends in the upper bracket finals, 3-0.

The Indonesian champions looked to dictate the tempo early on in Game 1.

But Season 7 MVP Edward “EDWARD” Dapadap warmed up early enough to beat down EVOS’ players and pull off a mega kill midway through Game 1. They eventually snowballed to draw first blood.

Mark Jayson "ESON" Gerardo's Gloo set up Blacklist for a team fight, enough for Kiel “Oheb” Soriano's Harith to take 4 kills in succession 7 and a half minutes into Game 2, putting them at match point.

Blacklist banked on a casual feeding Diggie strategy in Games 1 and 2 as cushion for them to get the match point advantage.

As this caused problems for EVOS Legends, the Indonesian champs decided to ban Diggie in Game 3 but fell short anew as the Philippine title-holders were able to draft in their comfort picks such as Harith, Granger and Estes to form the "Nice one baby" strat.

Entering the finals assures them of at least silver in the tourney.

A repeat of the MPL PH grand finals is expected if Execration pull through and defeat EVOS Legends in the lower bracket finals scheduled Sunday afternoon.
